JJ Denali has been living and breathing stories for as long as she can remember. She crafted crafted fairy tales throughout her childhood, followed that by writing angst-ridden poetry in her teens, and ended up with ten years of blog posts and magazine articles to her credit as an adult.
Unexpectedly winning second prize in a picture book writing competition prompted her to turn her hand to writing a novel that her kids might end up enjoying one day.
Lorelei: The Awakening is the result of that labour of love.
JJ lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia with two daughters, an exceptionally patient husband, and a rescued Siberian Forest Cat named Tauriel.
